When I was a kid, I used to get a recurring dream that I belonged to a predominantly Spanish-speaking land in my previous life. I have no idea why. But my gut urged me not to laugh those dreams off. So, I didn't. Without saying a word to any of my loved ones, because dreams are too brittle to be shared, I put my back into making those dreams come true. I submitted myself to modern slavery, learnt Spanish at weekends, and once I had saved enough, I quit my job and started travelling in May 2015.
"Mochilero" is Spanish for "backpacker" and I'm from India. Therefore, the name "Indian Mochilero". I've backpacked through parts of Asia, hitchhiked through most of Europe, and "bikepacked" about 5,000 Km through parts of Texas, US; Mexico and Guatemala. I've also lived in different cities across Latin America. Ya soy latino de ❤.
During my travels, I worked as a farmer in Spain, a cook and server in a café in Scotland, I made henna tattoos in Mexico, and sold German sausages with Indian curry in Guatemala.
